The Badgers L.C.C.

The Badger's Legendary Cricket Club are a rag tag and bobtail outfit of thirtysomething "cricketers" with a wide and varying range of talent hidden within the ranks, ranging from "awful" to "can just about hit it". We firmly believe that participation and gag-cracking ability is of higher importance than actual cricket-playing aptitude, and play the game in the spirit it was intended (eg alcoholically).

That's not to say we don't take each bitter defeat seriously, nor discuss tactical approaches endlessly over pints of Toby in the Albert; for we solemnly swear to always try our best, and not get too upset when, inevitably, that isn't good enough and we lose again. And again.
